THOR: THE DARK WORLD Reshoots are Nothing to Worry About, Per Source

Thor: The Dark World's Lady Sif, Jamie Alexander, recently tweeted out that she was back in Asgard. This definitely got the rumor mill churning over the weekend. Some fans even thought the worst because of this tweet.

According to one of The Daily SuperHero's insiders, there was a small problem found during the editing process and the appropriate transition shots were not available. So Marvel Studios decided to make a move right now to schedule quick reshoots for the next week or two.

Sometimes, when filming a movie, a director thinks he/she has all the shots needed for the editing room but when the time comes to sit in front of the computer(s) and edit, a few more shots are needed. This is the case with Thor: The Dark World.

Fans should not worry since reshoots are a part of the filmmaking process and the majority films have to go back for reshoots either for missing transition shots or, worst case scenario, because of script rewrites and new scenes are needed. Fans can exhale and breath easy because Thor's issues are the former, not the latter.
