Iron Man 3 Trailer: Eric Savin / Coldblood to be an Extremis agent?

SPOILER ALERTS!!

Since that's taken care of, right off the bat, we can dig right into a little something that's been brought to The Daily SuperHero's attention about this May's Iron Man 3 movie.

Right now, we know the Mandarin is the main villain and the Extremis virus gives humans some form of super abilities (like a Captain America super soldier serum knockoff) for what appears to be the Mandarin's agenda. What we don't know is how James Badge Dale's character of Eric Savin (also known as Coldblood in the comics) comes into play. Until now.... maybe.

It seems like Dale's role will not be a large one, since he hasn't been featured on any movie posters. And logic would say that Savin is actually one of the Mandarin's "Extremis agents," who is 'empowered' with the virus. Whether he is just one of the Mandarin's main generals or has another plot line remains to be seen but the comic villain seems to be playing some role in the new movie.

On top of this, there was a quick shot in the latest trailer of a shirtless man going toe-to-toe with a suit of armor. This person appears to be holding his own as he flips the suit of armor over, and onto its back (see image above) in the trailer.

Could this be Savin / Coldblood? Possibly, and if true, then it could indeed be Dale's character pictured above. Waiting for Iron Man 3 is starting to be torture, as May 3 seems like forever away still.
