The Dark Knight Rises Director's Cut Rumor Reportedly Debunked by Nolan Himself

Last week a rumor hit the web saying how The Dark Knight Rises would have an extended director's cut released in stores with approximately 30 minutes of additional footage, along with revealing more about Bane's origin.

Sadly, writer/director Christopher Nolan said no, according to The Playlist.

"Insiders close to the director confirmed to us yesterday that no such plans exist, and reports of an extended cut of the film are completely false."

Nolan has been known to never have any type of director's cut with his movies and what moviegoers see in the theaters is indeed his director's cut. This proves to be the case once again with his final chapter of his Batman trilogy. (Shoulder shrug.)
