DC Comics is making headlines as they have revealed a new cover, by artist Jim Lee, for new their Justice League book this week showing Superman and Wonder Woman kissing under the moonlight.

Available Wednesday in comic shops everywhere, this is not the first time the two have locked lips together. Per a USA Today report:

"In the aftermath, Superman and Wonder Woman find themselves in a quiet moment of connection and realize how similar they are, leading to an intimate embrace and a memorable lip lock.
The two have had kisses before in many comics in the past — they were even married in a dream sequence way back in 1983's Wonder Woman issue 300. Yet this one is huge in that it sparks a long-term relationship that will be felt all through the DC Universe in the next year."

It doesn't stop with a kiss and writer Geoff Johns will delve deeper into this relationship.

"The idea is that we have the freedom right now to explore what a relationship between Superman and Wonder Woman would really look like and how that would form and why," says Justice League writer Johns, who's also DC's chief creative officer.

Sounds like a big spike in Justice League sales are coming this week.
