The past Tuesday one of the comic book industry's best known artists, the late and great Jack Kirby, would have turned 95. Kirby, who had heart failure in 1994, was best known for working on the Fantastic Four, X-Men, Captain America, Thor and many, many more iconic Marvel characters. (Yeah this post is a few days late but better late than never, right?)

Comic artist Chris Giarrusso, who is known for his work on Marvel Minis and G-Man, put together one of the most impressive (and cute) tributes to Kirby on his website. His tribute showcased many of Kirby's best comic book covers and Giarrusso's adorable interpretations of those same covers.

Check out some of the tribute covers below and check out the rest of them over on Giarrusso's website by clicking right here.

Also, check out Giarrusso's Con appearances where he will draw you his interpretations of superhero characters for a small fee and color them in with crayon too! (He has drawn this writer Beta Ray Bill and Deadpool pieces at the last two San Diego Comic-Cons and it's worth every penny!)
