Over a week ago, Deadline reported how Marvel was considering a live-action television show that would be in the same universe as the cinematic universe they have created since 2008.

Some websites have speculated this proposed TV show could be a new Incredible Hulk show. But we here at The Daily SuperHero have been told by our Hollywood contact there is a rumor circulating in some circles saying it could be none other than Doctor Strange.

Early in 2012, news was released about a CalTech physics associate who was hired on by Marvel Studios to help them study any and all scientific limitations when using Dr. Strange's magic. This caused a stir of rumors saying it was being worked on to be one of Marvel's next movies but perhaps this is not the case.

With some TV shows focused on fantasy and magical elements (like Grimm and Once Upon a Time), it makes sense for Marvel to hop on the bandwagon with a potential Doctor Strange show. Don't forget all the success DC has had with their superhero show Smallville and they now have another one with Arrow.

In other words, fans might get a weekly Marvel fix right from the comfort of their own couch if any of this comes out to be true.
