When news broke director Michael Bay would once again return to helm a fourth Transformers film, a collective groan could be heard from much of the fan base because of the liberties Bay has taken in changing things for the big screen.

Now Bay has spoken out about the next installment of the franchise.

"The director, by the way, says that the fourth film will include some redesign of the robots and an entirely new cast," per LA Times' Hero Complex. "He also said it will be his last and set the franchise up 'for the next guy.'"

Will the robots get a more "Generation 1" look that many fans have desired?

What does he mean by saying he'll set up the franchise "for the next guy?"

Who would want to take over based on what Bay does in the fourth movie?

Wouldn't a new director want a complete reboot?

So many questions right now.
