Daredevil Reboot UPDATE: Josh Hartnett Could be up For Leading Role, Maybe

Back in March it was announced director David Slade (30 Days of Night) was hired by 20th Century Fox to helm a reboot of Daredevil on the big screen. Then in April it was rumored the reboot would take its plot from the basis of Frank Miller's Born Again story arc.

Now, it seems Slade has put a bullseye (pun) on an actor he is familiar with (this actor starred in Slade's 30 Days of Night) to play the lead role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil.

Slade took to Twitter and tweeted the following in a conversation on the social media platform.

Nothing has been made official and depending how you take this Twitter interaction, Slade could have been responding to either the part about getting back to working on Daredevil or the fact he would like Josh Hartnett to be Murdock/Daredevil. Very cryptic and well played.

Stay tuned to The Daily SuperHero as more information is made available regarding this reboot.

***UPDATE 6/19/12 12:19 p.m. ET: Slade confirms, via Twitter, his Hartnett comment was merely wishful thinking on his part.***
