Actor Oscar Isaac to be MOON KNIGHT in Marvel Studios' Disney+ Series

Marvel Studios has landed its Marc Spector actor with Star Wars alum Oscar Isaac (who played Poe in the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy). This was first reported by Deadline and is not corroborated by The Hollywood Reporter.

Isaac is no stranger to Marvel properties as he played the villain Apocalypse in Fox's X-MEN: APOCALYPSE movie a few years back.

A MOON KNIGHT series should be on the darker side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Spector has multiple personalities as well as the power of the Egyptian Moon God, Khonshu.

Deadline writes:

"Moon Knight, aka Marc Spector, is a mercenary who has numerous alter egos — cabbie Jake Lockley and millionaire playboy Steven Grant — in order to better fight the criminal underworld. But later he was established as being a conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Most recently, the character was a consultant who dresses in all-white and goes by the name Mr. Knight."

MOON KNIGHT joins the second wave of Marvel Studios' Disney+ series with SHE-HULK and MS. MARVEL. The first wave of Marvel Studios Disney+ series includes: WANDAVISION, FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER, and LOKI.
