DCOTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS to Get a Rewrite From LOKI Writer


Marvel Studios is making a few changes to their upcoming movie, DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS. They have already moved on from DOCTOR STRANGE director Scott Derrickson and now it looks like they are moving on from parts of that proposed script. too.

Director Sam Raimi is currently in talks to helm the sequel and the studio is now bringing on LOKI writer Michael Waldron (per THR) to take a run at the script and make needed changes prior to production.

Waldron is the head writer for Marvel Studios' Disney+ series LOKI, which starts full production soon, and he is also very familiar with writing highly interesting and weird things as he comes from Starburns Industries, which is most notable for the highly popular Adult Swim animated series RICK AND MORTY.

DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS is still set to begin primciple photography in May in order to meet its release date of May 7. 2021.
