Zack Snyder Shares Concept Art of What Darkseid Could Have Looked Like in the DCEU

Zack Snyder continues to hold onto the past. Well... how can anyone really blame him as the director lost his vision for JUSTICE LEAGUE when tragedy hit his family, but his vision began to be lost in his previous movie, BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, due to studio executive meddling.

The truth of the matter is that his DCEU vision got convoluted to the point where things fell apart pretty fast. The movies do entertain some, but not without being a mess of a story and a JUSTICE LEAGUE movie that was Frankenstein's monster of two directors' styles attempting to be blended into something presentable. (Narrator voice: "It's wasn't.")

Anyway, Snyder has shared a concept art piece for what his vision for Darkseid could have been...

Cue all the Thanos comparisons here, but don't forget that Thanos was initially seen as a knockoff version of Darkseid in the comics anyway. There's always been this comparison so it is nothing new at all.

Snyder continues these teases as a means to show off his true vision for the DCEU until things went off the rails with seemingly non-stop studio interference. Fans may never know his true vision, and honestly the guy needs to try to write a book about everything that happened and how he wanted things to pan out in his DCEU films.
