AVENGERS: ENDGAME Could Open With Nearly $1 Billion Worldwide This Weekend

What 2019 movie will have a bigger worldwide opening weekend? AVENGERS: ENDGAME or STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER?

Well, according to final projections for this weekend's opening of AVENGERS: ENDGAME, there is a very good chance that the answer is not Star Wars. Endgame is looking at pushing toward a possible $1 billion worldwide opening weekend, per THR.

As of right now, AVENGERS: ENDGAME is predicted to open as high at $900 $950 million worldwide but as most Marvel Studios films have done in the past, the projection is usually less than the final weekend tally after the dust has settled.

Does this mean Endgame will hit $1 billion by Monday? It could, maybe. It would be historic if it does.

Whether it does or now the fact remains that it should easily beat the box office record holder for fastest movie to $1 billion worldwide which was AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR. It took Infinity War 11 days to hit $1 billion and there's a good chance Endgame could potentially do that in half that time, if these projections are accurate.

Bottom line, if you don't have your tickets for this weekend you might want to just go ahead and get your tickets for next weekend as this movie will be sold out everywhere for its opening.
