Warner Bros. Will Reportedly Give Jared Leto's JOKER His Own Movie

Ever since fans saw actor Jared Leto as the Joker in 2016's SUICIDE SQUAD there have been rumors of a spin-off movie featuring him and actress Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.

Well, Harley Quinn looks to be leading her own spin-off, instead, featuring some of DC's badass female characters in the unofficially titled BIRDS OF PREY spin-off. This leaves the Joker without his co-star, but, according to Variety, Leto's Joker will get his own spotlight.

Leto will reportedly reprise his version of Joker in his very own JOKER spin-off movie.

Do not confuse this with the studios' other standalone JOKER origin movie produced by Martin Scorsese and director by Todd Phillips that is not a part of the DC Extended Universe and rumored to be targeting actor Joaquin Phoenix for the role of the Clown Prince.
