SUPERGIRL Season 3 Episode 11 Review: Fort Rozz

Reign has proven to be a bigger enemy than they expected. Supergirl and the others work on trying to get a head start on finding her before she attacks again.

The gang at the DEO try to find some information on the priestess that gave Coville his information. They find out she is the prisoner, Jindah Rozz, that Fort Rozz was named after.

However, Fort Rozz is currently orbiting a star in which not only is there no yellow sun but also no men can survive on it. Imra is eager to volunteer to go with her. Supergirl also tracks down Livewire, who's been working in a diner since Reign started killing criminals, and asks for her help. She reluctantly agrees. She also gets Psi temporarily released to help them out.

Samantha has plans to go out of town for work and Alex volunteers to babysit Ruby. Samantha’s trip is delayed by the reappearance of her alter ego, Reign, who is told by her fortress hologram that they're at Fort Rozz to find out their mission.

They arrive at Fort Rozz via the Legion ship and discover the cells have been open due to limited power. Livewire and Psi bump heads more than once on account for Livewire’s sarcasm and Psi’s overall personality.

That's the least of their worries as their attacked by a prisoner. Kara and Livewire subdue her but Psi attacks Imra who claims she lost control. She has her psycho dampener put back on. They interrogate their attacked who gladly gives them the location of Roz hoping they'll side. Bad sign number one.

Not long after that, they lose communications with Brainy at the DEO due to a solar flare are being pulled into the star along with Fort Rozz. Psi and Imra stay to try and get them out while Livewire and Kara go to find Roz.

Livewire and Kara get separated in the black fog mbut Kara finds Jindah Roz who reveals there are others like Reign. Reign shows up just in time to kill her. Yep. She doesn't need a yellow sun for her powers.

In a surprising feet of camaraderie, Livewire and Psi protect Supergirl. Psi even freaks Reign out enough that she temporarily loses control of Samantha before flying away. Livewire gets the brunt of it by taking a hit for Supergirl which kills her. The others make it back home safe.

Alex and Ruby bond when Alex gets an unexpected text from Maggie asking about her passport. Ruby opens up about someone who’s been bullying her. Alex goes over to the girl’s house threatening her with Juvie and flashing her badge. Very cool aunt stuff.

Samantha comes to pick up Ruby and realizes she never went to the meeting she had and has lost more time again. She's finally wishing up to the other person inhabiting her body.

Brainy and Winn are hilarious to watch. Brainy who is obviously of a higher intellect is easily agitated over the low technology they possess. Winn, however, turns out to be instrumental in sending the girls a signal.

In the end we get a look at one of our possible world-killers. A car comes and hits another car pinning a young woman (Julia) against it, who pushed her friend out of the way. Julia comes to and shoves the car away from her, without a scratch.
