According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. has found which of their DC Extended Universe movies will begin filming next and it will be SHAZAM!. David F. Sandberg will direct the superhero movie, which will be released under Warner Bros.-owned New Line, and begins filming in January of February 2018.
There is no word on if Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will co-star as Black Adam since he will now producer and star in his own BLACK ADAM movie. UPDATE 7/21: Johnson is now confirmed to not be in this movie.
The studio hopes to have SHAZAM! ready for release in 2019.
