Carrie Fisher Tribute Pretty Much Had Everyone in Tears During Today's Star Wars Celebration Panel

Orlando, Florida -- This afternoon during the 40th Anniversary panel at Star Wars Celebration Orlando, Lucasfilm presented a tribute to the late, great Carrie Fisher, who passed away in December.

It was one of the most touching moments of the panel, and this came after crazy excitement from appearances by George Lucas and a surprise showing from Harrison Ford. Looking to my left and right during the tribute, nearly everyone around me was in tears. A moment to remember for the rest of my life, for sure, but that moment was intensified as soon as the curtain to stage left dropped to reveal the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra being conducted by the one and only John Williams. (This portion of the panel was not shown during the live stream and was exclusive the the audience at the Galaxy Stage.)

Williams followed up her tribute by conducting 'Princess Leia's Theme' and if you were able to hold back the tears during the tribute, the waterworks could not be contained. Williams' surprise appearance and performance also included the Star Wars theme and the 'Imperial March.'

In case you missed her tribute, you can watch it below...

Forever our princess.

I'll never forget today's moment for the rest of my life.
