Sir Patrick Stewart Would Come Out of Mutant Retirement For Appearances in DEADPOOL and LEGION

About two weeks ago, Sir Patrick Stewart said he was officially retired as Professor Charles Xavier after his brilliant, final turn in LOGAN. It seems like Stewart is backtracking a little bit now.

Since his mutant retirement announcement, Stewart told MTV News (via ScreenCrush) he would reconsider to appear in a DEADPOOL movie.

"I would have said yes, but the discussion just now about Deadpool makes me think, well, maybe there is a proper justification for the revival of Charles Xavier."

That was from a couple of days ago, and last night on The Late Late Show With James Cordon (via TheMarySue), Stewart also said he would reprise his Professor X role in the FX's X-Men spin-off television series LEGION.

Here's the video from the talk show.

Pretty sure nobody would complain about Stewart walking back from his mutant retirement to show up in a future DEADPOOL movie and/or an appearance in LEGION. In fact, that would be fantastic!
