THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE Finishes No. 1 For the Second Weekend in a Row

THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE is starting to look like it will have some the long term success we here at DailySuperHero.com expected from the lone animated family film currently in theaters.

In its second weekend — which is an extended weekend here in the U.S. due to the President's Day holiday — THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE takes in an estimated $34 million for the 3-day weekend and an estimated $45 million for its 4-day weekend total. This will bring the animated Batman movie to over $100 million domestic by the end of Monday February 20.

Overseas, the movie hasn't released in all markets, yet, but it still took in $21 million to up its International box office gross to $72 million.

Worldwide, THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE has brought in over $170 million.

Without much competition in the animated movie genre, look for THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE to have continued success in the U.S. for the next 3–4 weeks even with the release of LOGAN looming on March 3.
