If there was any doubt THE BATMAN wasn't preparing to start filming in spring 2017, let the following comment, via Variety, by actor and director Ben Affleck confirm it.
“We’re on the right track with that and everything is coming together [for spring]. We’re still finishing up a script. I’m very excited.”
So look for casting news and an actual release date to be set by Warner Bros. in the coming months.
