Don't Worry, Ryan Reynolds Says DEADPOOL 2 is Right on Track

Despite going through a little bit of recent drama, DEADPOOL 2 is right on track to begin production in Vancouver in early 2017. This is straight from actor Ryan Reynolds' mouth in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

When asked about losing DEADPOOL director Tim Miller, due to "creative differences," Reynolds response was to simply confirm the following:

"Ultimately, everything is on track, that's all that matters at the moment."

This should be music to fans' ears right now because it wasn't until a few days ago when Fox officially hired on JOHN WICK director David Leitch to helm the sequel. In fact, Fox is reportedly already in the early stages of developing DEADPOOL 3, which is rumored to be the launching pad for the studio's next mutant team franchise, X-FORCE.

With Fox losing actor Hugh Jackman to "mutant retirement" after next year's Wolverine movie LOGAN is released, Deadpool is now the face of their mutant franchise and things are good to go for the Merc With a Mouth to begin filming his sequel once the calendar flips to 2017.

DEADPOOL 2 still does not have a release date but it will introduce audiences to the mutants Cable and Domino.
