THE FLASH Will Reportedly Begin Filming in Next Year Near London

Back in June, Warner Bros. and DC Films officially brought on director Rick Famuyiwa to helm THE FLASH. Based on a treatment by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (THE LEGO MOVIE, HAN SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY) and a script by Seth Grahame-Smith, Famuyiwa is deep into his preparation and research for the Ezra Miller-led DC Extended Universe (DCEU) movie.

Not much has been revealed about THE FLASH, outside of pretty much everything listed above, but now sounds like the studio has scheduled to begin principle photography as well as a studio location for their base of operations.

According to OnLocationVacations, THE FLASH will being filming in January 2017 in London.

It can be assumed THE FLASH will begin filming at the Warner Bros. Leavesden Studios complex outside of London after JUSTICE LEAGUE is done with its 111-day shoot. Although this has yet to be confirmed.

Miller has already been seen in cameos as Barry Allen, a.k.a. the Flash, in BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE and SUICIDE SQUAD.

THE FLASH releases on March 23, 2018.
