DOCTOR STRANGE: New Image of the Ancient One Teaching Dr. Stephen Strange

In the new 2016 Fall Movie Preview print issue of Entertainment Weekly — that just arrived in DailySuperHero.com's mailbox — there is a new image of Tilda Swinton's Master of the Mystic Arts, the Ancient One, teaching the student Benedict Cumberbatch's Dr. Stephen Strange in Marvel's DOCTOR STRANGE.

Here's a photo of the image from the magazine.

The magazine writes:

"His mind expanded, Strange begins to acquire an array of seemingly magical powers — including the ability to cast spells and to fly."

Director Scott Derrickson told EW this movie will be less about blowing things up and more about visual effects, which will aid in its storytelling and really makes this Marvel Studios' first must-see movie in 3D at the theater.

"The ambition was to use cutting-edge visual effects to do things that are fresh and new — to not just blow things up... All I will say is that the movie deals heavily with other dimensions."

DOCTOR STRANGE releases on November 4.

UPDATE August 12: EW has officially released this image.
