Breaking Down New Clues Revealed on the Set of THOR: RANGAROK

***THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THOR: RAGNAROK.***

***YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.***

THOR: RAGNAROK is filming in Australia and over the weekend the streets of Brisbane, Queensland were turned into New York City where hundreds (maybe thousands?) of fans gathered to watch actors Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston shoot some scenes. Several local on location news reports can been seen in the video embeds at the very end of this post, but here's a quick breakdown of some new clues from the movie seen during this sequence.

First, Thor is hanging out with Loki on the fake streets of New York; both in civilian clothes.

This seems to be one of only a few scenes in THOR: RAGNAROK actually based on Midgard (Earth), despite studio head Kevin Feige previously confirming the movie will mostly be set in the cosmos and Nine Realms.

Second, while on Midgard, Thor and Loki comes across some fans who take a moment to get a selfie with the God of Thunder while Loki is left out of the photo opp. (Yes, this is a scene in the movie not just some fans taking a selfie with the actor.)

Next, it seems like the reason Thor and Loki are on Midgard is to search for a street address on a small piece of paper.

Let's zoom in on the address in the last photo...

As you can see it reads "177A Bleecker St."

Marvel fanatics will immediately know who this is a reference to but for those who don't know this is the address of a certain doctor... none other than the Master of the Mystic Arts, Doctor Strange! This address is the location of his Sanctum Sanctorum in New York.

It is unknown if this will be an Easter Egg referencing Doctor Strange or maybe Benedict Cumberbatch may have a cameo in THOR: RAGNAROK. Fans will have to wait and see until fall 2017 to find out.

Finally, local news cameras caught a glimpse of a tattoo on Thor's arm which is quite intriguing.

"Loki R.I.P." on Thor's forearm? Hmm...

Here's the full news coverage video embeds from filming in Brisbane over the weekend.

THOR: RAGNAROK releases on November 3, 2017.
