Further Discussion of the THOR: RAGNAROK Faux Documentary Footage Shown at SDCC 2016

Last week at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios brought director Taika Waititi to their Hall H presentation, who brought with him a faux documentary, or mockumentary, discussing what Thor and Bruce Banner were up to during the events of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. The footage, which hasn't been released publicly but hopefully will be at some point or released on its Blu Ray, was a funny little look into the humor and world that Waititi is building for THOR: RAGNAROK.

At one point in the footage, it was shown that Thor is investigating his theories about the Infinity Stones as well as who Thanos is. Waititi shared the following image from the footage on his Instagram account.

As you can see above Thor is beginning to piece things together leading into the AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR movies.

Also shown in this mockumentary footage were some concept art pieces (also not released publicly, yet) including the first look at the villain Surtur, who joins fellow villains Hela, the Grandmaster and Skurge the Executioner. Plus, an art piece was shown with Hulk in his full Gladiator armor standing in an arena facing off against a shorter hair Thor!

Here's a look at Hulk's Gladiator armor from Marvel's SDCC 2016 booth confirming that some part of the comic book story arc 'PLANET HULK' is most definitely in this movie.

THOR: RAGNAROK is currently filming in Australia and releases on November 3, 2017.
