SDCC 2016: Marvel Studios Confirmed For Hall H Panel on Saturday July 23

It's been a not-so-secret secret that Marvel Studios might be taking over San Diego Comic-Con International with their big Hall H presentation. This comes after taking last summer off from SDCC to have a presence at Disney's D23 Expo instead — which will probably happen next summer too since D23 is the week before SDCC.

So far there's been teases for DOCTOR STRANGE and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 attending — with the latter just being confirmed by director James Gunn yesterday.

Over on the Comic-Con International website, their Saturday panel schedule has been officially revealed and Marvel Studios is listed to have their big panel on Saturday July 23 5:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. PT. There is a brief, and vague, description on the schedule website:

"Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige and special guests provide an inside look at the ever expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe."

It seems more than obvious that both DOCTOR STRANGE and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 will be on the Hall H stage. Both movies release within the next 10 months and they will get some Hall H love. Plus, there's more and more rumblings that the director and lead star in CAPTAIN MARVEL might be officially announced to the SDCC crowd as well.

Surely, Marvel will be making an announcement about their SDCC panel any day now and as soon as they do, we will update this post accordingly, if there's more info to share.

UPDATE 7/10/16 1:52 p.m. ET, via director James Gunn, who confirms GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 appearance:
