Producer Simon Kinberg Teases X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Post-Credits Scene

***This post contains a minor SPOILER for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE.***

Several news outlets, including The Daily SuperHero, have already seen an early press screener for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE this week. For those who have seen the movie already it is a mixed bag of opinions as the film is currently standing at 53-percent on RottenTomatoes.

It's not a bad movie at all, but it is not a great movie, and X-Men fans will be happy with many moments and the fan-service done in the movie. But you'll have to read our spoiler-free review, here, if you want any more teases about it.

Speaking of teases, producer Simon Kinberg spoke with Collider and teased the post-credits scene — which was not shown during press screenings so even we don't know what he's hinting at.

“It’s a nod toward potentially a lot of different movies. I mean certainly the Wolverine movie is related to what happens at the end of it, but there’s also another character that’s introduced, at least in name, in the tag and he could show up in any host of different X-Men films. Maybe a Gambit movie, maybe another X-Men movie.”

Who is this "another character" being introduced? You'll have to stay through the credits to find out.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE releases on May 27.
