Bryan Singer Spoils Wolverine Appearance in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

***This post contains a big SPOILER for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE.***

***You've been warned.***

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE isn't due to open in domestic theaters until May 27, but it'll open earlier in many International markets before this date. Because of the earlier International releases, director Bryan Singer has revealed the big spoiler regarding Wolverine's appearance in the movie.

The Daily SuperHero has already seen a early press screener for the film (our spoiler-free review is here) and we will urge you to not continue reading past the image below because Wolverine's appearance is one of the best sequences of the entire movie. Meanwhile, this early reveal could be an attempt at getting fans more excited for the film since it's receiving mixed reviews and currently sits with a 56-percent on RottenTomatoes.

But if you can't resist the urge to know everything before seeing it, then continue past this image.

Still here?

Okay, here's what Singer told the website HeyUGuys.

"What's really nice about his cameo is that he's the Wolverine you've never seen before. He's truly Weapon X. Not just the guy coming out of the tank, but the weapon."

If you're not familiar with the 'Weapon X' story arc in the Marvel comics universe it's about a brainwashed and programmed version of Wolverine who meant to be a controlled killing machine. This is fully realized in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, with headgear too, which is why it is one of the best scenes in the entire movie.
