Warner Bros. and DC Films Lose THE FLASH Director Due to "Creative Differences"

This is never a good look for any studio who loses a director. According to the sources at The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. and DC Films have lost their director for THE FLASH.

Seth Grahame-Smith was brought on to helm THE FLASH in October 2015 and he also penned a script for the speedster's solo movie.

THR reports:

"The project will retain Grahame-Smith’s script, which he wrote working off a treatment from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the Lego Movie duo that were once eyeing it as a possible directing vehicle."

Actor Ezra Miller is already signed on to star in THE FLASH and he already had two brief appearances in BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. Miller will appear in JUSTICE LEAGUE next.

With THE FLASH not set to release in theaters until 2018, there is plenty of time to find a replacement, who might also want to re-work Grahame-Smith’s script a bit, although that's just a bit of logical speculation.
