CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Actor Daniel Brühl Teases His Villain Role

Marvel Studios has yet to officially confirm it and he has not been shown in any CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR teaser, trailer or television spot but it is widely assumed that actor Daniel Brühl is playing the villain Baron Zemo.

In a recent interview with TotalFilm, via MCUExchange, Brühl teased his still-unnamed villain character.

"It’s not a guy who’s mean and sinister, but he’s actually very clever – a very smart guy who does everything out of a very understandable reason and motivation.
"Some of the things that happen in the film, and why they happen, are because of him. He is orchestrating things that happen throughout the film. I think that’s something I can say..."

While not too revealing, Brühl is confirming his character is the cause for some events that take place in Civil War.

With the release of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR less than a month away, May 6, perhaps there's a chance fans will get a first look at, and/or confirmation of, Brühl's villain soon.
