Marvel Entertainment CEO Allegedly Was the Roadblock For Getting More BLACK WIDOW Action Figures

Here's a little bit of Wednesday drama talk and because of it this post comes with a big ALLEGEDLY attached to every part of it. According to the website Birth.Movies.Death, Marvel CEO Ike Perlmutter was the main person who allegedly blocked the creation of more Black Widow action figures.

B.M.D writes:

"...[A]ny skinflint choices and bizarre decisions made by Ike are out of the way (trivia: I understand the reason there are no Black Widow toys is specifically because Ike, with a background in toys, believes girl toys do not sell and thus vetoed them again and again. One guy was the roadblock.)"

This is a pretty damning claim which is why The Daily SuperHero can't use the word allegedly enough throughout this post. However, it needs to be stated that B.M.D. says there were 'no Black Widow toys' but the truth is there were Black Widow toys and figures; albeit she wasn't produced as much as her male hero teammates.

If any of this is true, and add the fact Marvel Studios is now working away from Perlmutter, there's seems to be a much better chance of more Black Widow movie figures hitting store shelves in the near future.
