STAR WARS: ROGUE ONE Starts Filming as Set Photos of Stormtroopers Emerge



STAR WARS: ROGUE ONE has officially starting filming in as the U.K.'s The Mirror website has captured the first set photos of Stormtroopers on set preparing for a scene (via io9). While the Mirror thinks this is filming for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, it definitely is not. The Stormtroopers on set look like they are from the Galactic Empire and not the New Order.

STAR WARS: ROGUE ONE releases in theaters on December 16, 2016 and takes place right before STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE following the band of Rebels who go on a heist to steal the plans of the first Death Star.
