Rumor: Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy Might be in the Process of Extending Their X-MEN Contracts

This shouldn't come as a surprise at all because actors Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy are the leading stars of Fox's X-Men franchise. Both actors had confirmed they initially signed a 3-picture deal to play Magneto and Charles Xavier, and X-MEN: APOCALYPSE was the last movie they were contractually obligated to be in.

Fassbender recently admitted (post link below) to wanting to return as Magneto after X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. He is also close friends with McAvoy who also is on record talking about his passion for his role as Professor X.

Now the inevitable seems to be happening as a new rumor report (per HH) says both actors have either begun talks to sign an extension to their X-Men contracts or they may have already closed the deal and signed on the dotted line to be in move X-Men films. The rumor report is too vague to really say which could be correct as of right now.

Stay tuned because if there's any truth to this rumor then more reports will come out soon.
