SPIDER-MAN Writers Confirm Tom Holland Already Filmed His CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Appearance

Chalk this one up to The Daily SuperHero being right on a previous report. Back on July 10, during San Diego Comic-Con, The Daily SuperHero was told a tip that SPIDER-MAN actor Tom Holland had filmed his appearance in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR during the week of Comic-Con via a production employee's tweet. Click here to read that report.

According to a new report from Vulture, SPIDER-MAN writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have confirmed Holland did already shoot his scene(s) in Civil War and they are going to see Holland's Civil War tape. The site writes:

"Daley and Goldstein will have to contend with special effects of a different sort over the next few months, as they've been drafted to write Marvel's new Spider-Man reboot. That's still in the early stages, as Goldstein says they're going in to Marvel this weekend to look at footage of Tom Holland's cameo as Peter Parker in Captain America: Civil War. 'We hear good things,' he said. 'We might even get to look at the Spidey suit, which is exciting.'"

The duo also addressed the alleged SPIDER-MAN cast list image making the rounds earlier today.

"We've discussed certain characters," said Daley, "but nothing is certain yet, for sure."

When it comes to Marvel Studios, and the way they develop their films, things always change during development and pre-production. Heck, they can even change during filming and in post-production too.
