Concept Art Released For Unused Wakanda Mine Location in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON



In AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, writer/ director Joss Whedon wanted to briefly explore the Black Panther's home of Wakanda. So Marvel Studios commissioned 3-D concept art to be made for a Vibranium mine in Wakanda. This sequence never made it past the design concept stage because Whedon choose to have Ultron buy Vibranium from Ulysses Klaw instead of having Ultron visit the Vibranium mine.

Those concept art designs for the mine has now been revealed (digital art by Gregory Fangaeux via CB) and below you can see the concept pieces for yourself.
