Last night I was out with a good friend and we were talking about comic book movies, as we usually do, then we started talking about DAREDEVIL. And my buddy brought up a piece of Daredevil comic book history he really wants to see happen in Season 2.
Coincidentally, DAREDEVIL star Charlie Cox spoke about the same scene, via ScreenRant, I just discussed with my friend last night where Daredevil reaches out to Spider-Man to aid him in a legal case.
"I don’t imagine this will be the case, but I love it when Spider-Man pops up, and there’s one great issue where Matt Murdock has to defend Daredevil and so Peter Parker puts on his suit for him so he can sit in the dock. Other than that, I’d like Elektra to turn up."
Whether or not the next Spider-Man can or will show up in any of the Marvel and Netflix series remains to be seen. But if there's going to be any Spider-Man cameo in DAREDEVIL then this source material needs to be adapted, because it would make for a fantastic moment in Season 2. Plus don't forget about the villain connection between Spider-Man and Daredevil with Wilson Fisk.
Closing note: Spider-Man and Daredevil have dressed up as and posed as each other several times in the comic book universe.
