Not Much is Known of VISION in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, But Here's a Tease by Joss Whedon

You might not know him yet but Vision (played by actor Paul Bettany, who is also the voice of JARVIS) is already trending to be one of the most hyped characters in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Currently, Iron Man's Hulk Buster armor seems to be driving the hype train but the tease in the final moment of the latest Age of Ultron trailer has vaulted Vision's into the conversation.

Some devil's advocate for a moment... don't get too hyped for Vision because he may not have as large of a role in the film as many might hope he does. And he might only be in less than half of the movie.

Regardless of his screen time, writer and director Joss Whedon has teased Vision in a new interview with SFX, via CBM.

"He's artificial life and he's not caught up in the in-house bickering and the pain and self-doubt. He shows up and he's very certain. But we're not certain what he's certain of! And Paul [Bettany is] great, because he's so gentle, so compelling, but at the same time you're like 'He's nice but... what if murdered me?'"

Without fully seeing Vision in action in any of the trailers, it's tough to judge him right now. Whedon and Marvel obviously want to keep him under wraps until you're in your theater seat.

Avengers: Age of Ultron releases in theaters on May 1, 2015.
