FANTASTIC FOUR: After Months of Only Talking About "Containment Suits" the Classic Costumes Will be in the Reboot

Back in October 2014, Johnny Storm actor Michael B. Jordan told Good Morning America the costumes in Fantastic Four were more like "containment suits."

"It's a new look. We are all in containment suits... The costume process definitely took some time to get in and out of that thing, especially since I was bulking up. It was a little more snug during filming. We got through it man. It was a process, but we did it. It was hard work. I'm really excited about it, everyone is really happy..."

Now, according to Reed Richards actor Miles Teller in an interview with Screen Crush, the classic costumes will be in the reboot.

"These [containment suits you've seen in the trailer] are the beta versions of the costumes, which is great... But, yeah it would be very odd if the Fantastic Four didn’t don the traditional costumes. You’ve got to. There is some servicing there. You’ve got to give that to the fans. That’s what it’s all about."

The most important thing to note here is that Teller has said "there is some servicing there" and this obviously is referring to appeasing Fantastic Four fans. After Jordan never mentioning that the classic costumes would appear, many fans complained... a lot... online.

Perhaps writer/producer Simon Kinberg and director Josh Trank listened to the fans and added some classic costumes in reshoots or via computer effects in post-production because there were rumors online (over the past six months) stating the classic team uniforms weren't going to be in the reboot at all. This should makes fans happy... in theory...

Fantastic Four releases in theaters on August 7, 2015.
