Warner Bros. Reveals DC Schedule With 2-Part JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie, AQUAMAN, WONDER WOMAN Solo Movies; BATMAN & SUPERMAN Coming Soon Too

Only days after news hit the web that Marvel was bringing Robert Downey Jr. to Captain America 3 as Tony Stark and Iron Man to begin their big screen version of their Civil War comic book story arc, Warner Bros. was at bat. And Warner Bros. revealed, via their press release,  their full DC super hero movie release slate through 2020.

  • “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” directed by Zack Snyder (2016)
  • “Suicide Squad,” directed by David Ayer (2016)
  • “Wonder Woman,” starring Gal Gadot (2017)
  • "Justice League Part One,” directed by Zack Snyder, with Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams reprising their roles (2017)
  • “The Flash,” starring Ezra Miller (2018)
  • “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa (2018)
  • “Shazam” (2019)
  • “Justice League Part Two,” directed by Zack Snyder (2019)
  • “Cyborg,” starring Ray Fisher (2020)
  • "Green Lantern” (2020)

Notice there's no Batman solo movie with Ben Affleck coming while there will be a 2-part Justice League movie with both being directed by Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman director Zack Snyder. Seems highly questionable since Batman is the studios' moneymaker.

Also, Jason Momoa is officially confirmed as Aquaman. Actor Ezra Miller (who?!) is now confirmed to be Flash. And actor Ray Fisher will get his own solo movie — he has a cameo in Batman v. Superman — as Cyborg.

UPDATE: Warner Bros. has just confirmed that solo Batman and Superman movies are in development and coming soon too. I guess they forgot to put this info about their two biggest super hero characters into their press release... weird.
