STAR WARS EPISODE VII: First Look at Evolved Stormtrooper Helmet Designs Leaked? - UPDATED

There are two huge movies where internal leaks are happening like crazy and where the rumor mill is working overtime right now: Star Wars Episode VII and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. While fans are able to take photos and videos on location for the latter, the rumors and leaks for Star Wars Episode VII are coming from either a crew member or an inside spy with the production.

Or there's the Episode VII conspiracy theory that is building momentum claiming Disney and Lucasfilm are intentionally leaking set imagery for Episode VII as a means to create viral online hype for the film without having to release anything official. If true, it is an interesting approach to marketing the movie by creating leaks.

There's been set photo leaks from outside and inside of the Millennium Falcon and now it seems like another leak can occurred. According to IndieRevolver.com, they have acquired concept art for new Stormtrooper helmet designs. These designs seem evolved since Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and they should since Episode VII takes place approximately 30 years after.

Another thing that stands out about these alleged leaked Stormtrooper helmets is that they definitely resemble concept art images created by legendary Star Wars concept artist Ralph McQuarrie.

Without further delay, here's a look at the alleged Stormtrooper helmet designs...

UPDATE: The website Latino-Review has posted another image of the new Stormtrooper helmet and this image looks to be an actual prop or perhaps an early physical concept design for the helmet.

Star Wars Episode VII is set to release in theaters on December 18, 2015.
