Almost there ...

Here it is!

According to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige (via Slash Film) you won't see Thanos for a while, after Guardians, since he will not be making an appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron. But then Feige said they are still filming the Avengers sequel so things can change between now and when it's done filming in the U.K.

"He’s not a part of Avengers 2. I think Thanos does what he wants, and shows up where he wants to, and I’m not going to tell him otherwise. You don’t know exactly; smirking at the end of Avengers. By the way, we’re still making Avengers 2, so nothing’s definitive one way or the other, actually."

When will Thanos make his next appearance? Sometime in Phase 3 and most likely in Avengers 3. Or at least that's the current opinion by the majority of fans and websites right now.
