Mark Ruffalo Says HULK Will be Meaner and Angrier Than Ever in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

In comics canon, there are certain points when Bruce Banner loses complete control of the Incredible Hulk and things go bad ... and of course get smashed. So far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hulk has destroyed Harlem, a section of the Helicarrier and is told to smash (by Captain America) aliens during the Battle of New York, in The Avengers. While Banner seems to have control over the green monster, by revealing his secret of always being angry, there will always be a struggle to control the rage monster.

At Comic-Con, Screen Rant caught up with actor Mark Ruffalo who talked Hulk for a few moments.

"You’re gonna get a Hulk that’s meaner and more angry than you’ve ever seen."

Ruffalo then teased how Banner might lose control over the Hulk, in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

“There’s only so far that he could ever go before he feels like there’s no coming back and we might have crossed that threshold this time (laughs).”

It has already been teased, by Ruffalo, that Hulk is terrified of Banner (see that story link below) and these new comments seem to back it up. In theory, if Hulk is afraid of Banner then it would seem logical for the rage monster to try and take complete control instead of changing back to puny Banner.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is currently filming in the U.K. and is set to release in theaters on May 1, 2015.
