Poll: Paul Rudd is ANT-MAN But Which Version is He? Hank Pym or Scott Lang?

Marvel fans know actor Paul Rudd has been officially cast as Ant-Man in the 2015 film but the real question remains as to which version of Ant-Man will he be portraying on the big screen?

Prior to Marvel Studios confirming that Rudd was cast in Ant-Man, the website TheWrap reported Rudd was being specifically cast as the version of Ant-Man who is Dr. Hank Pym. Pym is the creator of the technology that allows a person to shrink—or later grow—their size smaller and is also used by his comic book wife who is the Wasp. Yet in Marvel Studios' press release announcing Rudd in Ant-Man they never acknowledge which version of Ant-Man the actor is. Here's a snippet of the press release:

"Marvel’s 'Ant-Man' has found its hero in Paul Rudd, who will star in the new film from director Edgar Wright hitting theaters July 31, 2015!

The casting of Rudd represents the actor that Marvel had long ago identified as its first choice to play Ant-Man, continuing the studio’s desire to cast actors that bring several dimensions to its onscreen heroes. The film’s plot is being kept under wraps."

As you can see in the above press release snippet, there is no mention of which version of Ant-Man Rudd will be.

Then there's the fact writer/director Edgar Wright has talked about how Ant-Man could have both Pym and another version of Ant-Man, Scott Lang, in it over the past years of the film being in development. This was also kind of corroborated by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige stating the film will be a "heist movie" back in October 2013. Lang steals the Ant-Man suit to use it for crimes, in case some were not aware, hence the heist part.

To wrap all of this up, it needs to be stated that Marvel is keeping it a secret as to which version of Ant-Man Rudd will be. Will he be Pym or Lang? Vote in The Daily SuperHero's poll below!
