AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Lands Another Villain in Baron Wolfgang von Strucker

If you thought Ultron was going to be the only threat for the Avengers in Avengers: Age of Ultron, you were wrong. The Hollywood Reporter is confirming that actor Thomas Kretschmann (NBC's Dracula, King Kong, Wanted) has been cast as the villain Baron Strucker.

Baron Wolfgang von Strucker is known as a villain of both Captain America and Nick Fury in the comic book universe but his inclusion into the Marvel Cinematic Universe could see things adapted and changed. How Strucker will be a part of this film is unknown but it will be assumed that he has a hand in potentially creating Ultron or this means Hydra is back since Strucker is affiliated with Hydra in the comics. While any guess could be made about Strucker being in Avengers: Age of Ultron, nothing is certain.

Avengers: Age of Ultron releases in theaters on May 1, 2015.
