Disney Stores to Have Exclusive Marvel Select WINTER SOLDIER Action Figure in December 2013

Now that Thor: The Dark World is in theaters and gobbling up cash left and right, it is time to start thinking about Marvel Studios' next blockbuster release. Captain America: The Winter Soldier will release on April 4, 2014 and marketing for it has already begun in the form of a new and exclusive Marvel Select toy release for Disney Stores.

Marvel and Diamond Select have just announced an exclusive Winter Soldier action figure, which is based off his comic book look, will only be available to purchase in December 2013. Here are some quick details about the figure from the Marvel and Diamond Select press release.

"Sculpted by Jean St. Jean, the comic-based Marvel Select Winter Soldier action figure will be exclusively available at the Disney Store, DisneyStore.com and MarvelStore.com starting in mid-December. The approximately seven-inch figure has 16 points of articulation and comes with a pistol, machine gun and sniper rifle as well as a shattered window display base. Figure and base come packaged in the Select line's familiar display packaging, with side-panel art for shelf reference."

No actual release date was announced nor was there a price but prices in this toy line usually range in the $25 vicinity. In the meantime, check out the promotional images for the new figure below and click them to enlarge.
