David S. Goyer Tapped to be Warner Bros. and DC's Version of Joss Whedon Moving Forward

A new report, over on Bleeding Cool, states that screenwriter David S. Goyer (Blade TrilogyThe Dark Knight Trilogy, Man of Steel) will helm Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment's new movie universe moving forward. The report even goes to say that one producer now considers Goyer as DC's version of Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

Whoa, whoa whoa. Wait a minute.

That comparison is a bit much. Regardless of the fact this is what the report states, Goyer is more comparable to Marvel Studios' Joss Whedon more than the actual studio president Feige. That is unless Goyer just got a promotion and is the new head of a brand new Warner and DC movie studio. Well, that's not the case. And enough nit-picking the original report.

Goyer's bankable script for Warner and DC super hero films have made him the go-to guy for anyone who is brought on board in the future for DC films and who might have any question regarding the DC movie-verse. Interested producers have reportedly met with Warner regarding big screen adaptations of DC properties including: Suicide Squad, Booster Gold, Deathstroke and the New 52 comic book launch of Team 7.

All of this on top of the past rumors saying Warner and DC are developing films for The Flash, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Aquaman and other super heroes. Goyer is certainly going to be a very busy man from now on.
