The Return of the MANDARIN, er, Trevor Slattery? Ben Kingsley Says He's Working on a "Secret MARVEL Project"

While some Marvel fans loved what was done with the Mandarin and Sir Ben Kingsley in Iron Man 3, there is an equal amount of comic purists who really hated it. Bottom line is Kingsley's performance, in his dual role, was one of the highlights of the threequel.

Now, it sounds like Kingsley's turn in a Marvel films is not over. According to actor quotes during his press tour for Ender's Game, via Belfast Telegraph, the actor is working with Marvel once again.

"It's a secret Marvel project. I'm not allowed to say any more, you're going to have to wait and see," Kingsley said.

Kingsley went on to say that he has been working with some of the former crew of Iron Man 3. Because of this comment, it needs to be stated that Marvel Studios does have several crews who go from one Marvel film to the next. This was told to The Daily SuperHero by several crew members who were working on the Captain America: The Winter Soldier production in Cleveland.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige commented, also per the Belfast Telegraph, about Kingley's involvement in another Marvel project and he said he couldn't say nothing otherwise he'd face the wrath of Marvel bosses. (He is the Marvel Studios boss, by the way. Ha.)

Stay tuned because Kingsley being involved in another Marvel project could mean his character from Iron Man 3 could see more screen time in an upcoming film. Perhaps Trevor receives 10 rings of powers and actually becomes the Mandarin. How about a Trevor Slattery one-shot short film? Or maybe Kingsley is just voicing a character in Pixar and Marvel's 2014 animated release, Big Hero 6.
