One name has been a hot commodity within the superhero movie casting community and that actor is none other than Bradley Cooper (The Hangover, Limitless). And his name is getting even hotter now!

This isn't the first time Cooper has been a hot name for superhero movies as he was rumored to be in the running for Green Lantern and he is also rumored to still be in the running for The Flash. However, Cooper's name is on the top of the list of comic book writer Mark Millar's Supercrooks movie which is currently going into the casting process.

"I am literally calling up his guys tomorrow and want to secure him as Johnny Bolt." says Millar, per SuperHeroHyper.com "It's about TIME he did a super-movie and having him as a likeable super-villain in a super-heist flick sounds about perfect. He's our ideal choice and we're going to pursue this properly tomorrow once I'm done with our Kick-Ass 2 business for the day."

Also, according to one of The Daily SuperHero's own insiders, Cooper's name is being brought up behind closed doors at Marvel Studios too. The exact role for Cooper is an unknown but our insider thinks it is for one of two roles that have yet to be cast by Marvel. Both are leading roles in their respective films. One role is as Star-Lord in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy movie and the other is for Dr. Hank Pym in 2015's Ant-Man movie.

So would Cooper be more interested in a lesser-known property like Supercrooks or in a property owned by what could be the hottest studio in Hollywood right now, with Marvel? What do you think? Sound off on our Facebook page by clicking right here.
