Professor X and Jean Grey are playing mind games with fans right now. No surprise since their mutant ability allows them to do so.

Both actors Patrick Stewart and Famke Janssen have issued subtle hints they might be returning to the next X-Men movie—which could use time travel from the Days of Future Past comic book story arc the next movie has also taken as part of its movie title.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is confirmed, by producer Bryan Singer, to attempt to create one unified X-Men cinematic universe under the direction of not only Singer but director Matthew Vaughn and newly signed creative consultant for Fox's X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises, Mark Millar. And this means former X-Men actors could be coming back too.

"One never knows," Janssen said, in a recent interview with MTV News. "Jean Grey, the Phoenix...she finds a way to reincarnate herself constantly, so one never knows."

Did make it clear she's currently "in no position to say anything" and fans should "stay tuned."

Sounds somewhat convincing that there could be some talks happening with Janssen behind the scenes, just like there could be some talks between Fox and Stewart to appear in X-Men: Days of Future Past as well.

Definitely stay tuned because this next movie is sounding like it could have a huge ensemble cast with plenty of cameos of past X-Men characters from the big screen.
