THE BATMAN Opens With Nearly $130 Million Domestically; Nearly $250M Worldwide

Casting haters can eat crow as THE BATMAN, starring actor Robert Pattinson as the newest version of the Caped Crusader, is a huge hit worldwide.

According to Deadline, THE BATMAN opened domestically with $128.5 million in ticket sales making it the biggest opening in the pandemic era behind SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME. 

Internationally, the film added $120 million bringing its worldwide opening tally to $248.5 million.

The film is critically a success and moviegoers also appear to love this new version of Batman, too. Word of mouth is going to be very strong for THE BATMAN and it appears the movie will continue to dominate the box office for many weeks as more and more take the positive word of mouth to go out to see the hype for themselves.
