There's been rumors circulating for a while that actress Hailee Steinfeld (BUMBLEBEE) had been cast as Clint Barton's pupil, Kate Bishop, in the upcoming Marvel Studios HAWKEYE Disney+ series.
Well now it is confirmed via these set photos from the production of the series as you can see her with actor Jeremy Renner...

In the comics, Kate takes over the mantle of Hawkeye from Clint Barton and it appears that this is exactly what is going to happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, too.
